Taplejung (ताप्लेजुङ) is one of Nepal's 77 districts, in Koshi Province. Its headquarters is Phungling. It covers 3,646 km² and is home to 120,590 people — 33 per km², making it the 70th most densely populated district in the country. It borders Panchthar, Sankhuwasabha and Tehrathum.
