Bardiya (बर्दिया) is one of Nepal's 77 districts, in Lumbini Province. Its headquarters is Gulariya. It covers 2,025 km² and is home to 459,900 people — 227 per km², making it the 28th most densely populated district in the country. It borders Banke, Kailali, Salyan and Surkhet.
