Salyan (सल्यान) is one of Nepal's 77 districts, in Karnali Province. Its headquarters is Salyan (Sharada). It covers 1,462 km² and is home to 238,515 people — 163 per km², making it the 41st most densely populated district in the country. It borders Banke, Bardiya, Dang, Jajarkot, Rolpa, Surkhet and Western Rukum.
