Mugu (मुगु) is one of Nepal's 77 districts, in Karnali Province. Its headquarters is Gamgadhi (Chhyanath Rara). It covers 3,535 km² and is home to 64,549 people — 18 per km², making it the 73rd most densely populated district in the country. It borders Bajura, Dolpa, Humla, Jumla and Kalikot.
