Nuwakot (नुवाकोट) is one of Nepal's 77 districts, in Bagmati Province. Its headquarters is Bidur. It covers 1,121 km² and is home to 263,391 people — 235 per km², making it the 26th most densely populated district in the country. It borders Dhading, Kathmandu, Rasuwa and Sindhupalchok.
