Gorkha (गोरखा) is one of Nepal's 77 districts, in Gandaki Province. Its headquarters is Gorkha. It covers 3,610 km² and is home to 251,027 people — 70 per km², making it the 62nd most densely populated district in the country. It borders Chitwan, Dhading, Lamjung, Manang and Tanahu.
