Tanahu (तनहुँ) is one of Nepal's 77 districts, in Gandaki Province. Its headquarters is Damauli (Vyas). It covers 1,546 km² and is home to 321,153 people — 208 per km², making it the 31st most densely populated district in the country. It borders Chitwan, Gorkha, Kaski, Lamjung, Nawalpur, Palpa and Syangja.
